Una de las cosas que más me gusta de Mashable son las tecnologías que implementa en su blog, muchas basadas en AJAX. Recuerdo el «Drag to Share», una extensión para compartir imágenes directamente en redes sociales; y otro que va mostrando las imágenes a medida que navegas por el blog, agilizando la carga. Realmente creaba un efecto muy chulo pero no tenía ni idea de cómo se llamaba. Después de rebuscar por Google, lo encontré.
El plugin en cuestión es el jQuery Image Lazy Load WP y su instalación es tan sencilla como descargarlo, subirlo a la carpeta de plugins y activarlo, no necesita configuración. Yo ya lo tengo en pisito 🙂

¿Y eso te agiliza la carga de la pagina o simplemente se usa por su estetica?
Si va cargando sobre la marcha a lo mejor va bien con blog con muchas imagenes

yo le veo una pega: si no tengo conexión constante me quedé sin ver las imágenes.
Yo tengo ese problema, porque a veces «trabajo» offline.
Al menos he visto que si hago un barrido rápido a la página, se me cargan todas y listo (ya me busqué solución, jeje).
Me quedé too loco viendo que de primeras me salían en gris, xD
Cuando quedamos? que empieza a hacer solecico
