Los programas para ver la televisión por Internet están a la orden del día. Además del archiconocido Joost hay muchísimos más: Babelgum, Veoh, Democracy, TV Video… Pero en España tenemos la limitación de que los canales nacionales no se pueden ver a través de ellos. Eso ya es historia.
Aunque veo poquísimo la televisión, paso de perder el tiempo viendo un 45% de anuncios que aparecen cada 15 minutos, sí que me ha interesado mucho Zatoo, un nuevo programa para ver la televisión online y que nos permite ver Tve1, La 2, Antena 3, Telecinco, La Sexta, Cuatro…
No tiene tantas funcionalidades como Joost (plugins, valoraciones…) pero va muy rápido y la imagen es muy nítida. Además está disponible para Windows, Linux y Mac. Hemos comprobado en PisitoenMadrid cuanto (más o menos) es el retardo con respecto a la señal analógica y es de unos 4 segundos (tenemos una conexión de cuasi20megas con Ya.com), lo cuál está bastante bien.
Por otro lado, otra forma de ver la televisión en Internet es mediante sites como Google Video o Daily Motion, en donde no se ve la televisión en «directo» sino donde se cuelgan programas de televisión, series… aprovechando que se pueden subir vídeos de larga duración. Ahora, el rey en estos casos es Stage 6.
En su momento conocí DarkVille, que me la enseñó Angel Ricardo, huesped habitual de Pisito, en donde se pueden ver capítulos de series, entre otras cosas, en streaming (mucho más rápido que la descarga directa) pero tenía la pega de que no había mucho material en castellano. Stage 6 por el contrario además de tener una calidad impresionante a pantalla completa y de ir rapidísimo (carga una película de una hora y media casí como un vídeo de 10 minutos en YouTube), te permite descargar los capítulos, series, programas, conciertos… y tiene mucho contenido en español.

entre nuevos reproductores o paginas yo destaco el de divx, no se si es una web o es solo un plugin para subir divx en blogs, que creo que es lo que es, pero la calidad es impresionante y no tarda nada en cargar, en strike.es (sorry por el spam pero no lo he visto en otro sitio) estan colgando animes con ese reproductor.

Antes he probado a ver un vídeo en Stage6 y me he quedado flipando. Calidad alucinante, cargando a la misma velocidad que Youtube o mejor. El caso es que sus foros tienen de momento ni 800 posts en el general. Dentro de un mes a ver qué tal va, sería un buen indicativo de que se va creando una comunidad sólida. Como YouTube no se ponga las pilas se los chuflan, y creo que símplemente con traducir la web y poco más no van a mantener tantos usuarios como desearían.
PD: Dueños de Stage6 millonarios y en la nómina de Google en 3, 2, 1…

El Joost no me ha convencido, sólo son vídeos. No es TV en directo… una pena, porque yo sólo busco partidos de fútbol, básicamente.
De momento tengo el PPStream, un programa chino muy bueno que emite en broadcast o algo así, una especie de red tipo EMule donde los usuarios se envían entre todos la señal, TVP2P creo que es. EL caso es que he visto esta temporada todos los partidos del Real Madrid (mi equipo 😉 ) gracias a los chinos!
En la página http://www.rojadirecta.com hay una pizarra en la que anuncian cada día los canales (con la dirección que hay que escribir) y todos los acontecimientos deportivos que emiten los mismos. La mayoría de canales son chinos e ingleses, pero es un lujo poder ver el fútbol sin pagar a Canal y Polanquito…

hay que tener en cuenta que Darkville es una web de Mexico que esta especializada en series en version original y los publican nada mas que se emiten en EEUU y es por eso que no esta en español
